(CGUHS) Senior Spotlight: Joseph (Joey) Garton. Joey is currently the Trap & Skeet Club Treasurer. These are his plans after high school: "My plans after high school are to attend Arizona State University (ASU) in Biomedical Engineering, study abroad in Japan my Sophomore year, network with professors to engage in research projects, then take accelerated pathway classes to graduate with a master’s degree, then decide to either take pre-med, start a business, or be a global research consultant. As a senior, I’m graduating with a 4.506 GPA ranked 9 in my class. I’m NHS Secretary, HOSA Secretary, Trap & Skeet Club Treasurer, STEM Advisory Council Treasurer, LINK Crew Recorder Commissioner, DECA Marketing member, and Key Club Senior Representative. I participated in Trap & Skeet and Varsity Swimming. My favorite Trap & Skeet memory was hitting my first 25-straight, coincidentally on May 4th (Star Wars Day)." Thank you, Joey, for being a part of our Trap & Skeet Club for the last two (2) years, we as coaches, have thoroughly enjoyed having you on our team and the memories we have been able to make with you. Your bright smile and outgoing personality is one we all will miss. We wish you the best of luck after high school with all your goals!
